They include aromatherapy, meditation, acupuncture, yoga, massage, hypnosis, spiritual healing and Reiki, among many others.

CAMs address the emotional, physiological, psychological and spiritual conditions that affect a person’s health. These approaches are not typically provided in conventional medicine and have origins outside of usual Western practice. If a non-mainstream practice is used together with conventional medicine, it’s considered “complementary.” – If a non-mainstream practice is used in place of conventional medicine, it’s considered “alternative” (2018).
CAM must be administered correctly and properly monitored in order to be effective and safe. Breathwork and aromatherapy will be closely monitored.
Reiki, meditation, and mindful practices are non-invasive with no contraindications, and can be implemented along side any medications or medical treatments.
